The value of transactions on the commercial real-estate market is likely to exceed EUR 2.0bn in 2010 compared to last year's EUR 0.70bn, according to estimates of commercial real-estate broker and consultant Cushman & Wakefield.
Its experts note that in the whole of 2009, merely around 20 such transactions were reported, while the value of deals registered in January-February, 2010, came close to the figure for the whole 2009.
Last year, the lettable commercial area grew by 0.9mn sq.m. to 9.35mn sq.m., with 57% of this value being launched in H2/2009.
