"Currently, the investment capital is difficult to obtain in the world. Most of economies which are able to supply investment capital are still in the financial crunch. So I think that a slight rise of capital's inflow to Poland vs. 2009, which was estimated at EUR 8.6bn, is the most probable forecast," Majman told reporters.
Majman upholds that the most proffered sectors of FDI projects should be the aviation and car industries, and also the chemical branch as well as modern business services centres. It is to the above mentioned fields and a slow recovery of the global economy which makes Majman expect the slight foreign investments rise in Poland in 2010.
Earlier, the PAIiIZ forecasted FDI inflow at EUR 7bn for 2009.
In mid-February, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) announced that FDI inflow was EUR 8.38bn vs. EUR 10.03bn a year before.
