Orbis plans to open 4 hotels in Warsaw and Krakow before Euro 2012

Hotel chain operator Orbis - controlled by Accor - plans to open four economic type hotels under the brands of IBIS and IBIS budget in Warsaw and Krakow with 635 rooms, before the launching of football championship Euro 2012 in June, 2012, the firm's CEO Laurent Picheral has said.


"In accordance with this plan, the number of hotels of the economic category, belonging to Orbis Hotel group is to rise in short time from 17 to 22, and the number of rooms in hotels belonfing to this segment, will rise by over 25/5", Picheral said.

Orbis posted consolidated net profit of PLN 119.09 mn in 2011 vs. PLN 9.20 mn profit a year earlier. Consolidated revenue in this period was PLN 718.84 mn compared with PLN 700.71 mn a year earlier.
