The economic condition outlook indicator (WWK), hinting at future economic trends, fell by 0.6pts m/m in January, according to a report of the Office for Investments and Economic Cycles (BIEC).

BIEC expects stabilization of economic growth in 2012 at a level slightly lower than in 2011 (when it amounted to 4.3%).

Among positive signals from the economy, the analysts mentioned four-month long upturn of orders in the manufacturing sector; they noted that the chunk of this growth falls on the domestic market, while they are worried about a decline of exports-oriented orders.
