The Old Town (Stare Miasto)

The Old Town (Stare Miasto)

Enjoy your time while walking along the narrow streets of the Old Town district, the most historic and fascinating part of Warsaw.

The Old Town was established at the end of the 13th century. During the World War II it was completely destroyed by the Nazis. After war, the area was rebuilt and now is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

When you get tired of tourist crowds, just take a short walk to the Vistula (Wisla) river. There is a very nice and relaxing bank area. It is also a great place for sunbathing or picnic.
